Sound Advice from a Leadership Guru |

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I want to talk about opportunity. We have a lot of opportunities here to really make the best of the situation. I think one of the best things about this is how many great ideas have come online. It’s important to remember that if you run a business that can still work for people during this time, you have an obligation to share that with them.

This is why Network Marketing pairs so well with an economic crisis. My family and I make the majority of our income through Monat, and our other two businesses don’t bring in as much. Those two other businesses still trade time for money. Most states now are only letting businesses stay open that is essential. Think of how many businesses can go online though! For instance, my yoga instructor is leading classes on zoom! There are also businesses that are just going to take a hit no matter what.

It’s my obligation to let people know that there is another option out there and that I am here to serve them! That is the one thing that I have been talking to people about left, right and sideways. I’m talking to our nail tech, our friends that own restaurants, our neighbors…You have to know what you’re sharing! What do you have to share? A great resource is a three-day series that John Maxwell did last week about leading through crisis and here are some takeaways.

This isn’t the first crisis situation that we’ve had in our lifetime and it definitely won’t be the last. My twenty-year-old daughter has been through 9/11, the Mersa scare, SARS, and so much more. We have to adjust to a new normal, but you’ve got to have a residual income opportunity because you never know if this is going to happen again. Don’t ever let yourself be unprepared or rely on the job you have now. You never know when that is going to be ripped from under you. You have an opportunity right now whether with me or someone else. There are hundreds of companies out there or maybe you connect with someone else, it’s all up to you!

If you’ve been reached out to by someone in Direct Sales, don’t dismiss them. At the end of the day, they are in a better position than you and want to serve you. Take the blinders off and listen.

Personal care products + Network Marketing= Recession Proof

If you study the trends, you will see that the above equation holds true! You have to give permission to be the voice of reason and give yourself permission to give that opportunity to help other people. That is all I’m sharing with you today. That is what breathes my passion. It hurts my heart to no end to know that some of my friends now have to rely on the government, which will only get them so far.

Don’t ever let yourself be exposed like you are right now. Find someone in a company of products that you like and talk to them about what it could potentially do for you. That opportunity could completely change your financial future in 30 days. Network Marketing is a very simple business. In my case, everyone is washing their hair and washing their face. I just switch out the products they’re already using with the ones that I’m sharing.

“Crisis makes you do things you normally wouldn’t do. You have to adapt and move quickly and that’s all we’re doing here.”

-John Maxwell

I’m challenging you to go out on a limb and out of your comfort zone and ask the woman/man you know that is in that company. If you need help getting through this and you don’t even know where to start, let’s chat. If you’re in a company already, reach out to your customers and see if they need anything. I’ve been making sure my customers are covered, especially the ones with a total loss of income. Send them a free product or a gift card, do something. Show that you care, because we’re all in this together.

You have to be a light. There is always a silver lining even though we may not know what that looks like yet. If you’re invested and if you see that light too, there are always opportunities to make money and get through this. I will help you in any way that I can and just know that I am sending love to you all.
