I wanted to share how inspired I was by a book written by Tim Glover. I have read and have started to re-read, just because I love his message, the way he writes, and the way he speaks as an author. The name, you ask? Relentless. This is a book, honestly, not for the weak, because he goes right for the jugular and grit. I really do appreciate this about authors, and he performs in a way that is surely relatable. Here’s what I think…I know for a fact that many people and many of my readers may not understand what it is that I do and the power of what our particular business model and networking is.
I was a corporate restauranter for a very long time and started when I was fifteen in the dish room or bussing tables. Big Boy…I’m sure it’s been a long time since you’ve heard that name, but we’ve all got to start somewhere. It was right outside of Detroit and led me to finish school and get a management job. Soon I was a small business owner, again, trading time for money. I worked for that corporation for EIGHT YEARS. Many like to think that being high up on the corporate chain, or owning a business, is going to lead to loads of money. Notice though, that if you don’t have your doors open 24/7, or show up to do the job, you don’t get PAID!
There is one fundamental difference between a regular income and residual income. Residual income is something that you build on your time and is going to pay you today, tomorrow, and the rest of your life. If you don’t believe me, Google it. Network Marketing is the only industry in the world that gives you the opportunity to be paid what you are worth. Period. What I love about this is that I get to utilize people, as well, who are giving 100% of their time. This is my craft, my love, joy. The things about it are that I have an innate desire to show those that believe their incapable of great things, or doing this business, and help them make a significant income. The more that we make (by helping others), lets u help even more! If you don’t believe you can do it, I am Challenging you to step out of your comfort zone and rise to the occasion. Make a difference in your life. Get more time freedom. Get more money freedom. Turn the TV off, get off the couch and DO SOMETHING about it.
Back to Tom Grover…He’s not a sugar-coater. Here’s a little excerpt from my new favorite;
“Every dream you imagine, everything you see, hear, and feel in your sleep, that’s not a fantasy. That’s your deep instinct telling you it can all be real. Follow those visions. Follow those dreams and desires, and believe what you know. Only you can turn those dreams into reality. Never stop until you do. The greatest battles you’ll ever fight is with yourself, and you must always be your toughest opponent. Always demand more of yourself than others demand of you. Be honest with yourself and you’ll be able to meet every challenge with confidence, and the deep belief that you are prepared for anything. Life can be complicated, the truth is not. I truly believe that I have zero limitations, you should believe the same about yourself. Listen to your instincts, their telling you the truth. I want the satisfaction of knowing that every move I make, every thought, every idea, every action takes me further than anyone else has ever gone. It makes me better at what I do than anybody else in the world. That’s what drives me. Whatever drives you, let it take you where you want it to be. Everything you want can be yours. Be a cleaner and go get it. Be relentless. Done. And next.”
